The Introduction to Cybersecurity Risk in FinTech micro-credential is awarded to learners who demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill required to manage cybersecurity risks in the changing landscape of financial technology and applications.
Through this Level III Badge, you will learn how to manage cybersecurity risks in financial technologies and demonstrate a working knowledge of modern FinTech technologies including cloud, blockchain, AI and 5G wireless. During this course, you'll gain hands on experience using industry-standard security risk analysis tools.

Complete CYB 617 Intro Cyber Risk in FinTech (3 Credits). In this course, students learn the basics of how to manage cybersecurity risks in the changing landscape of financial technology and applications such as AI, 5G wireless, cloud and blockchain.
Key Skills Acquired:
Master diverse risk analysis methodologies and scenarios
Integrate risk into security policies and risk management programs such as an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program
Use the FFIEC CAT tool to evaluate cybersecurity risk in a model organization

Learners can begin their pursuit of micro-credentials at any level; individuals who are new to the field are best suited for Participation or Level I badges, whereas experienced professionals might be more interested in advanced Level III Badges or Level IV Certifications.
